The superfoods we add to our Complete Superfoods recipes are:
- Organic turmeric: The main compound in turmeric is curcumin, which can slow down the growth of some cancers. It also promotes wound healing and acts as an anti-inflammatory.
- Spirulina: Spirulina, a microscopic algae is a detoxifier, a great source of iron, B vitamins, and omega-6.
- Organic ginger: Gingerol is the main compound found in ginger and this also supports many things, including muscle and joint health, bloating, digestion, and more.
- Organic ground black pepper: Black pepper contains a compound called piperine which supports the absorption of curcumrin that’s in turmeric.
