Yes, cat can eat carrots, however many are not keen on these sweet tasting vegetables. Carrots contain the antioxidant beta-carotene which cats can convert into vitamin A. Carrot greens
or carrot tops also contain vitamin A and beta carotene meaning they are safe for consumption
providing they are not contaminated.
How to prepare: It is recommended that carrots are steamed before being fed to cats
as this will soften them to prevent them from becoming a choking hazard.
