You can change your preferred payment on the customer portal.
Here are the steps:
- In the menu select Account and then Payment Method.
- Click on +Payment Method
- Choose between Paypal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or Credit/Debit Card
- IF you choose paypal, you need to set paypal as your default method and then login
- IF you choose Credit or debit - enter card details and select the address for the card - or create a new address for the purpose.
- IN both cases it is important to select SET as default Payment Method
- You are done.
Removing Payment Method
IF you want to remove a payment method and you only have one payment method in the system - you need to add a new one before you can remove the old one.
If you want to remove your default payment method, you need to set another payment method as your default before you can remove the previous default one.
Example:
In this account, there is only one payment so we cannot remove it UNTIL we have added a new payment method.
Click on Add New
You will see some new payment options - if you are on an iPhone, you will see Apple Pay
Enter details and make it default if you want to use this in future for deliveries.
You may see a bank security message or receive a notification on your banking app to check that this is you. We don't take money, simply authenticate the card for the future.
Now you have two payments in the system.
You have an option to either:
- Make the top one your default again or
- Remove it as a payment option
That should be you done.
