Unfortunately some customers receive login errors when they try to enter their portal.
There are few common ones we will cover below:
Email not recognised.
We all have lots of different emails nowadays and it is easy to make the mistake of using a different email to login. If email is not recognised, check you are using the correct email.
Email address format not correct
If you are typing in your email, it is easy to enter a comma rather than full stop in the email address. Commas are not allowed in emails ever so check that. Spaces are also not allowed so check you did not enter a space in error. We remove spacing from the beginning and end but we cannot remove a space in the middle. Another classic error is not entering the at sign by mistake. Finally, we do get a lot of errors from mispellings - the two most common are mispelling com as con and enter the suffix which should read .co.uk as .co.
For example, these won't work
- something other@hotmail.com,
- something@hotmail,com
- something:hotmail.com
- something@hotmail.con
- something@hotmail.co
Finally, if you suddenly realise that you have never received an email from us at all, this almost always means that we have the wrong email for you. Contact customer care to see. You can always send an email asking whether this is the actual address we have.
