How to help your dog avoid getting diarrhoea

• Feed a healthy diet which is easily digestible and balanced – we have some great options for you to try.
• If you do change your dog’s diet try and do it slowly especially if they are prone to tummy upsets – we have more on that here.
• Discourage scavenging – some repeat offenders may benefit from wearing a muzzle on walks.
• Regularly screen for worms (we have a kit here) or use a deworming protocol recommended by your vet.
• Vaccination prevents parvovirus.
• Toys should be durable made of safe materials and of a suitable size. This helps stop them
  or bits of them from being swallowed.
