What is the difference between raw and BARF?

‘Raw’ refers to uncooked raw dog food consisting of raw meat, usually with bone and offal,  formulated in any of a number of ways. BARF stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (or Bones and Raw Food) and refers to a diet which closely mimics that of wild canids. It includes raw meat, bones and offal and may also include some plant matter, as well as things like eggs and fish.
