Is your dog overweight?

As above, get to know what is normal for your dog. A dog that is underweight will look a bit skinnier all over but it might be more noticeable around their ribs and abdomen. They may also become less energetic, be off their food or, they could be ravenously hungry. If you are concerned about your dog’s weight loss then we’d recommend having them checked by a vet as there can be clinical reasons for this. Once your pet has the all clear medically then you can look at how nutrition can help your pet gain weight safely.
