Can dogs eat raw bones?

Always give dogs raw bones with meat attached to eat or chew on. There is a small risk of salmonella with raw bones so pop it in the freezer for a couple of days. This is a precaution against any parasites that may be present and to inhibit bacterial growth. Farmed meat from a reputable UK source is a low risk for parasites but it does no harm to take the precaution if you can.
