Once puppies start developing teeth they can be given a bone that’s appropriate to their size. Soft
chewable bones like chicken wings are recommended. At first they will likely mouth them but they will still get goodness from it. It’s also great for developing their eye-mouth coordination and learning how to chew.
When the pup reaches about 6 months adult teeth start to develop and your pup can be given a more rigid bone. However really hard bones like a cow’s leg bone can cause damage to the teeth and gums.
What bones can dogs eat guide.
