Never give dogs cooked bones. Cooking changes the consistency of the bone making it easier to shatter or splinter. This can damage your dog’s mouth throat and intestines. Cooking also removes the nutritional value of the bone. Cooked bone is also more difficult to digest which could lead to a risk of blockage.
