Some say kibble and wet or kibble and raw can’t be fed together because they are different foods. Raw food contains high levels of protein and moisture, while kibble contains high levels of carbohydrate and very little moisture. Because of this, some believe they digest at different rates, or that they require different levels of stomach acid (pH).
Digestion is very clever and can cope with a variety of foods. Your cat will produce enzymes and stomach acid to digest their food regardless of whether it’s raw food, processed food, or a mixture of both.
